AMS FUEL MANAGEMENT

Digital fuel management for airports and fuel station operators

From connecting existing fuel dispensers and pilot self-service to mobile refuelling, inventory management, digital delivery notes, invoicing and consumption forecasts: aerops maps the entire fuelling process in one central system.

Connect fuel systems from different manufacturers centrally

aerops Fuel Management connects existing fuel dispensers and refuelling technology from different manufacturers with one central digital management system. Supported systems include equipment from DOHMANN, NOVOTEC, HECTRONIC, MAUL and EN-TANK, as well as other commonly used systems.

Fuel transactions are imported automatically and become immediately available for customer allocation, inventory management, delivery notes and invoicing. Existing refuelling technology can therefore continue to be used.

Pilot self-service via the aerops app

Pilots can complete the refuelling process independently via the aerops app: digitally authorize the payment amount, unlock the fuel system, refuel and have the transaction settled automatically.

  • Authorize payment digitally before refuelling
  • Unlock the fuel system directly via the app
  • Automatically allocate the transaction to the customer and aircraft
  • Provide a tax-compliant digital invoice

This eliminates the need for manual sales by airport staff. Instead of a fading thermal-paper receipt, the customer receives a permanently available digital invoice.

Allocate and invoice refuelling transactions in real time

Fuel data is imported in real time from connected systems. Transponder, customer, company and aircraft can be assigned automatically to the relevant transaction.

For regular customers and commercial operators, all refuelling transactions can be collected and consolidated into a monthly invoice. Digital delivery notes are generated automatically and sent to the stored recipients.

Digital refuelling directly at the aircraft

For fuel trucks and mobile refuelling, the module is optimized for tablet use. Staff record quantity, fuel type, aircraft and customer directly on the apron.

The recipient confirms the refuelling with a digital signature on the tablet. Delivery note, inventory posting and invoicing are created automatically – without handwritten paperwork or subsequent data entry.

Analyze consumption, refuelling rates and future demand

Visual dashboards show consumption, revenue and refuelling rates in relation to aircraft movements. Trends can be compared by period, fuel type, location and customer group.

Forecasts can incorporate weather forecasts, public holidays and trends in aircraft movements across Europe. Airports can therefore plan inventory and replenishment earlier and more reliably.

Also available independently of airport operations

Fuel Management can be used as a standalone module – including by fuel station operators, mineral oil companies and service providers that operate separately from the airport organization.

Customers, refuelling transactions, digital delivery notes, inventory and invoices are managed independently of the remaining airport management functions.

Reliably allocate customs-relevant refuelling transactions

Customs permits and Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) stored in the system can be considered during refuelling. Eligible aircraft and operators can be identified and assigned to the intended customs and energy-tax process.

Customs permits and AOCs are shared across aerops between connected airports operating bonded fuel stores. When a permit is added, it becomes immediately available to the other connected bonded-storage airports.

Important: Digital availability does not replace the required visual inspection of the original document.

Together with aerops digital bonded warehouse management, this creates an end-to-end process from refuelling to documentation and reporting.

Keep all fuel inventories in view

aerops Fuel Management centrally manages fuel quantities, receipts, issues and current stock levels. Airport groups receive a consolidated overview of connected fuel stations and airports.

This enables stock comparisons across locations and better coordination of purchasing, replenishment and distribution.
