Thanks to numerous initiatives, unmanned airport operations are increasingly becoming a reality. At the same time, many aerodrome operators face the challenge of continuing to reliably meet regulatory requirements. In particular, the collection of statistics as well as the processing and billing of landing fees raise important questions.

Aerops offers a simple and efficient solution: the digital landing report function can be easily activated within the well-known payment system AMS Basic, which is already used by nearly all aerodromes.

With the landing report, operations are automatically documented in the flight logbook and – optionally – landing fees can be paid directly. All relevant information required by authorities is fully recorded, including origin, number of passengers (PAX), crew, landing times, and other necessary data.

For locally based aircraft, it is possible to exclude the payment process and carry out only the landing report. The collected data in the flight logbook can then be integrated into existing systems such as Vereinsflieger and further processed.

The feature is currently available to around 60,000 app users. For pilots without the app, aeroPS also provides a browser-based web solution that can be conveniently accessed on a smartphone via QR code.

In combination with the PPR tool, which is also included in the Basic package, pre-notifications can be processed automatically – including automatic approval or rejection. In addition, important information such as approach procedures or notices regarding noise-sensitive areas can be transmitted to pilots before the flight.

For more technically advanced users, aerops also offers an API interface. This enables the integration of additional data sources such as movement data or camera feeds and allows them to be cross-checked with pilots’ landing reports.

With these features, aerops provides a future-proof foundation for modern, efficient, and increasingly automated flight operations.
